Cassandra B: We have really seen that hybrid, flexible, remote work has opened up opportunities for communities that have historically been untapped, particularly in tech. Not everyone happened to grow up in Seattle or Silicon Valley.
Cassandra B: And now, for someone like myself, I'm a working mom. I have the ability to work from home and be here when my son gets home from the park. And I can help put him down for his afternoon nap. That's incredible.
Cassandra B: Would I have stayed in tech after I had him if I didn't have the opportunity to work remotely? Probably not. So we really need to learn to work with flexible work rather than against it.
