Native American Heritage Month reminds us to recognize and celebrate our indigenous people's diverse cultures and contributions. Note: Native American Heritage Day is observed on November 27, 2026.

National Family Caregivers Month is all about recognizing and honoring the incredible work of family caregivers. It's a great time to raise awareness and support these unsung heroes. Workplaces can observe by offering resources, hosting educational sessions or simply taking a moment to thank and support employees who are caregivers.

National Gratitude Month

National Gratitude Month in November encourages us to embrace the power of gratitude and focus on the positive aspects of our lives. It's a great time to boost moods and reduce stress by appreciating the good things around us. Your organization can join in by setting up gratitude boards, hosting thank-you note sessions or starting meetings with a round of positive acknowledgments.

All Saints Day

All Saints Day is a Christian holiday for celebrating all of the church's saints. November 1 is the day Western churches celebrate. In Eastern churches, All Saints Day is celebrated the first Sunday after the Pentecost.

National Author's Day

This holiday is all about celebrating the amazing writers who bring our favorite stories to life. It's the perfect day to dive into a good book, share your favorite reads online with #NationalAuthorsDay and support aspiring authors.

Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos

Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday during which families welcome back and reunite with the souls of their deceased relatives. Coco is a fun family movie that celebrates this holiday.

National Team Manager Day

Every year on November 6 we celebrate National Team Manager Day, a special day to honor the hardworking managers who keep our teams organized and motivated. It's the perfect time to show some love and appreciation for their invaluable contributions. At work, you can celebrate by giving them a shout-out, organizing a team lunch or writing thank-you notes to show how much you value their efforts.

November 8

Diwali

Known as the “Festival of Lights,” Diwali is a Hindu holiday celebrating the “triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and good over evil” according to National Geographic. While Diwali takes place on November 8, the festival spans five days: November 6-10. Each day of the festival has a specific purpose and celebration.

World Adoption Day

World Adoption Day is dedicated to celebrating the adoption journey and connecting with individuals touched by adoption (adoptee, adoptive parent, sibling of an adoptee, or someone in the waiting period).

November 11

Veterans Day

Veterans Day was first celebrated in 1919 to commemorate Armistice Day, or the end of World War I. In 1938, Armistice Day became a national holiday, and the holiday was changed to Veterans Day in 1954 to honor all American veterans of all wars.

Bhai Dooj

Bhai Dooj is a Hindu festival that honors the bond between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters perform a traditional ceremony to pray for their brothers’ long life and wellbeing, and brothers give gifts in return. It’s a meaningful time rooted in love and protection—great for workplaces to highlight in calendars or acknowledge with a quick team message about sibling traditions around the world.

World Kindness Day promotes the importance of being kind to each other, ourselves and the world.

International Day for Tolerance

The U.N. declared the International Day for Tolerance in 1996 to remind us to accept, respect and appreciate the diversity in our world – and our workplaces.

Global Entrepreneurship Week
