In July, accomplished corporate culture leader Cassandra Babilya, the Head of Employee Experience Strategy at Amazon Web Services, sat down with Jason Lavender, the Co-Founder and CEO of Electives. Cassandra B: We really need to look at what the goals of our people are and what they need at each stage. For example, if we're looking at the growth stage where employees are looking to really excel in their career and build roots and get more scope or get promoted – when we look at how we can support employees through each of those 6 stages of the job cycle, I think the most surprising thing is we are pretty aligned on what employees need and what companies need throughout the job life cycle.
Cassandra B: I think what we've seen is that the most important things to employees while they're in their careers are things like recognition, opportunities to grow their career, development time and being included.
