1. Active listening

“When you truly listen to your team, you can uncover what is slowing them down or stopping them from performing their best,” shared Austin Rulfs, Founder of Zanda Wealth.

2. Clear feedback

Vague feedback is a time waster. Conversely, direct, actionable feedback keeps everyone on the same page. 

Need an example of clear feedback? Spencer Romenco, Chief Growth Strategist of Growth Spurt, shared: “If a campaign concept feels off track, I do not just say it needs to be better. I point out exactly what needs adjusting.”

This approach allows teams to move faster and fix issues efficiently. Spencer noted, “It is a skill that has consistently helped us deliver high-quality results on tight deadlines.”

3. Time management

“Knowing how to prioritize tasks, set realistic deadlines and organize workflows helps keep teams focused on what matters most,” explained Oliver Aleksejuk, Managing Director of Techcare.

4. AI readiness training

Jamie also says: “By empowering team members to own their work, leaders free up their time for bigger-picture issues, and the team feels trusted and motivated.”

Teaching managers how to delegate effectively is essential. When leaders let go of the urge to control every detail and instead trust their teams, productivity thrives. Delegation allows leaders to focus on strategic priorities, while team members feel ownership and motivation in their roles.

9. Adaptability
