What is Electives Membership?
Electives Membership is a modern, live learning platform that curates timely, interesting and impactful learning experiences for you to take together with your colleagues and peers from other companies. Each month, you select the live (via Zoom) classes you want to join.

Follow the steps below to receive approval for your BYBS and begin learning with Electives.
01To be eligible for BYBS and Electives, you must be a regular full-time employee based in the United States and have completed three (3) months of continuous employment. If you are outside the United States, please contact your HRBP for eligibility information.
Interested in Electives Membership?
- Confirm that you are eligible for BYBS with your People Business Partner/HRBP.
- Submit a Spend Authorization in Workday before you make a purchase: in your Workday menu, go to Expenses > Create Spend Authorization; be sure to indicate the total cost, including tax, and provide a justification explaining how the expense meets BYBS criteria.
- The Spend Authorization must be approved by your manager and the Talent Management & Learning team.
- Upon approval, you claim your seat for your Electives Membership.
- You must submit an Expense Report within 30 days of payment: be sure to attach your Spend Authorization to your Expense Report.

Every month, you will have a wide variety of classes and certificate programs to choose from. Here are the primary content areas:

04Once your spend authorization and expense report have been approved, sign up below to claim your Electives Membership seat.
Electives Membership is $1,000 for 12 months of learning; 2 classes each month. Once you register, you will receive an invoice to submit in your BYBS expense report.

You will receive an email to join Electives Membership. From there, you can log in, browse the collection of upcoming classes and enroll with just a few clicks. Each month, you will receive an email of the next wave of Electives Membership classes!
For optimal engagement and interaction, there will be a maximum of 60 members in each class.
Each month, Electives Membership will host a curated collection. The number of classes offered each month may vary, but there will always be enough classes scheduled to allow for a maximum of 60 people per class.
Most classes will be 60 minutes long. The duration of each class will be noted on the class page in the Electives Membership platform.
