What you will learn:
A survey of 15,000 managers found that the skill most associated with positive outcomes was empathy--but that just 40% of leaders were strong or even proficient at empathy. Another found that 80% of employees would be willing to leave their job if they found a more empathetic employer; 57% would take a pay cut to do so. Just one in four employees believes that the level of empathy in their organization is sufficient.
As we return to the office, so many are suffering the effects of the upheaval and trauma of the past two years. A majority of American workers are looking for a new job. What they crave isn't a higher paycheck; it's meaning and connection. Employers that are able to show through their actions that they care about their workers are going to surge forward in this new era. The key is empathetic leadership. In this session, learn the steps you can take to build a culture of empathy for a stronger workplace, more productive teams, and a healthier workforce.
