What you will learn:
Do you find yourself doom scrolling, anxiously checking slack or let email run your day? You're not alone. Every app wants your attention, and they are getting it. Each day, the average smartphone user gets 46 push notifications a day. Companies deliberately design these bells and bright red bubbles to hold users for as long as possible. Technology was supposed to make our lives easier, but the current state has fragmented our attention span, increased our anxiety and made us miserable. It might seem like this is just the way the world is and we have to deal with it.
It doesn’t have to be that way. There are a select few who have bucked the trend and use technology instead of letting it use them. I want to share the lessons from my research on the topic based on my own struggles with tech addiction.
Imagine life with less anxiety, feeling in control of your day, improved relationships and a greater sense of focus. What could you accomplish and how might that change your life for the better? Learn how taking a step back and being more deliberate about your technology use can change your life from the better.

About the instructor:
TLDR: I made it my personal mission to find the answer to the question ”How can I be highly productive and work less hours?” My style covers the intersection of stress reduction and increasing productivity.
In 2018 I found myself in a difficult position. I received the promotion I worked hard for, leading my own team at a fast-paced startup. My old mentality of “work more hours and give it your all” started to fail.I was miserable, suffering from panic attacks and questioning my ability. Every day felt like a challenge I couldn’t overcome, and I started to feel hopeless.
So I made the hardest and most humbling decision of my life. I got help. I checked myself into a hospital for a few days and began truly working on myself. It helped, but I knew I needed more, as I checked out, I left with one question burning inside me “what can I do to feel better?”
I read every book I could get my hands on, took courses, and talked to others with a similar experience and was determined to come back stronger than ever. What I learned is that we have more control of our mental state than we might believe. There are many scientifically validated techniques for stress reduction that are simple, free and easy to apply to your daily routine.
My most interesting discovery is that by putting your mental wellbeing first, it can lead to you being more productive. I was able to exceed my goals at work, get another promotion, build a passion project, and live a more meaningful life. My goal is to help others learn how to improve their mental states and lead happier and more productive lives.
I offer guided workshops and courses for companies and individuals that help people reduce their stress and live a better quality of life.
