Together, we will hold the mirror up and reflect on our personal history, the life experiences that have influenced the development of our identity, and unpack deep-rooted and learned oppressive behaviors.

Why does this matter? Creating psychological safety and a space where people of the global majority can thrive begins internally – before the work is done externally. This workshop is rooted in the decolonizing framework and aims to spark curiosity and hyper-awareness.
About the instructor:
Stephanie Castellanos is a talent & equity strategist who specializes in building diverse teams and decolonizing the workplace. Her commitment to racial equity stems from her lived experiences navigating higher education and the workplace as the first in her family to graduate from high school and college, as the daughter of immigrants and a single mom, granddaughter of a Bracero, and as a product of Inglewood, California.
She serves as a trusted advisor to CEOs, leads executive searches, and coaches talent from diverse backgrounds. As the Founder of WOKESHOP and the Purpose Hustle Network, Stephanie has facilitated over 1,000 workshops and has reached over 20,000 youth, young professionals, and parents of color in 28 states.
Prior to this, she's served as the Head of Talent, Recruitment and HR for schools, a national nonprofit focused on disrupting and innovating the child welfare system, and proudly, as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Coalition for Diverse Educators -- a grassroots organization tackling systemic challenges in increasing teacher diversity across California.
