What you will learn:

As an experienced global executive, Elizabeth Sandler has taken the complexities of global, fast-paced, customer-centric environments and created a simple framework for developing global team leaders.

Students will start with an assessment of their global leadership readiness before embarking on a five-step framework. Through the course leaders will be introduced to concepts such as cultural mapping, communications, strategy implementation, and performance management. Participants will emerge with a concise action plan for becoming a successful global team leader.

This course can be run as a 3-hour workshop or as three separate one-hour sessions.

About the instructor:

Elizabeth spent 25 years as an executive in investment banking and private equity, including 18 years as a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at The Blackstone Group and Deutsche Bank A.G.. Based in both the U.S. and U.K. with thousands of employees in over 70 countries, she is an experienced global leader. As a top-ranked Chief Operating Officer, she developed a comprehensive leadership profile and oversaw operations, technology, human resources, compliance and finance. She leverages her extensive executive experience to provide career development and business strategy to CEOs, executive management teams, and rising top-talent.

Elizabeth is an active patron of higher education and serves on the Graduate Executive Board at The Wharton School, where she earned her MBA, and on the board of Scholars of Finance, a 501(c)(3) that helps undergraduates pursuing finance careers build character and lead with integrity. Elizabeth also serves on the board of two public companies, in the U.S. and U.K..

In 2019, Elizabeth founded Echo Juliette which advises companies on human capital investments spanning culture, leadership development, organizational design, and physical space. Her clients are focused on preventing burnout, increasing performance, and positively impacting employee engagement. Elizabeth is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Practitioner (SHRM-SCP), a certified coach and a qualified teacher of mindfulness.

In 2020, Echo Juliette launched a spin-off company called Juliette Works, which is focused on providing women leaders with the inspiring, fulfilling careers they desire. As a working mother who raised two sons across 3 countries Elizabeth is uniquely passionate about seeing women achieve career success without sacrificing other aspects of their life.
