What you will learn:
There are common pitfalls that arise in communication whenever we're working with others. The first step is to identify them (so we can do something about these habits!).
This Elective invites the audience to explore their own habits and walk through each mistake. We will explore pitfalls such as: the curse of knowledge, missing the point with too much detail, and the biggie: unspoken expectations and assumptions.
Most of us have had the experience where we thought we were so clear and yet the message didn't land; learn how to avoid this situation moving forward. This Elective will show employees what's missing in communication and highlight the big mistakes so they can be avoided.
