What you will learn:

Imagine your body as a building, held up by 6 pillars.  Those 6 pillars are the foundation of your health.  If there is a crack in one pillar, or one pillar is falling apart, the entire foundation of support is compromised.  Our bodies are the same as this building: if one tenant of health is compromised or not supported, how we feel, our energy, our mood, how we show up in the world each day, is also compromised.  The 6 pillars or tenets of our health are: bio-individual nutrition, intentional movement, restorative rest + sleep, community + connection, environment (indoors and nature), and mindset.  In this course, I introduce all 6, their role and importance in our wellness, and simple tips to support each tenet.

About the instructor:

My name is Calista, and I am a functional nutritional therapy practitioner. That's just a fancy way of saying I am a functional nutritionist who works with people to get to the root cause of their symptoms. I love to teach corporate classes on all things nutrition and wellness, because every single human needs the knowledge and tools to invest in their health. We have one life partner, our bodies, and it is our responsibility to nourish and support them. I'm passionate about helping guide employees to learn how to show up for their body and overall health in real, sustainable ways, that have lasting effects on how they feel and function each day.
