What you will learn:

Most of us would rather die than speak in public, but it's an essential skill that can catapult success, instead of leaving you behind. What do people need to know to be a powerful and influential speaker, or at minimum, be able to present effectively when necessary?

In this Elective, we'll cover five things needed for highly effective public speaking - from both an internal and an external perspective. For example, what matters most - is it what we say or how we say it? How does body language play into public speaking, and how important is this skill compared to the message? We'll look at research and practical application, and even get a chance to practice. By the end of our session, employees will gain confidence around public speaking, and be equipped to take on the most challenging of fears that's shared among the human race.
