What you will learn:

When Google studied what makes their most high-performing teams tick, they were surprised by the results. It isn't a magic combination of skill sets, individual traits, educational backgrounds, or even cultural backgrounds that makes a team successful. It is “psychological safety.”

In this interactive, thought-provoking session, author and executive coach Maya Hu-Chan explains the subtle and not-so-subtle behaviors and mindsets that create barriers in the workplace, barriers that lead to team members feeling unheard, disrespected and unvalued. Leaders and team members will learn simple and practical ways to co-create a culture of "psychological safety" — an inclusive environment that allow everyone to thrive.
