What you will learn:

The legendary comedian Victor Borge said it best when he declared, “laughing with someone is the shortest distance between two people.” Studies prove that when you laugh with a person it creates trust, making it easier to feel comfortable working together toward a common goal and to take risks. Leaders who are able to demonstrate a sense of humor are perceived as authentic, relatable and courageous. What I have learned from my 25+ years performing and teaching comedy tools is that what shared laughter does best is say to a person, or team, "I'm human and I see you. I get you. It’s going to be okay.” When we can laugh about a circumstance or even an error, we know it is not hopeless. Now more than ever business cultures need to feel inclusive and safe giving employees an irrefutable sense of belonging against tough odds to thrive. In this 60 minute workshop, Modisett shares her expertise in the form of 6 specific tools to help you create this kind of communication with your teams, your clients and frankly all your relationships.

It worked and changed the quality of her end of life care. Modisett launched Laughter On Call (www.laughteroncall.com) to bring shared laughter to those who need it most.
