What you will learn:

Enhancing Team Cohesion and Effectiveness Overview Program
Do you know the difference between a working group and a team? A working group is a collection of individuals doing individual work. Accountability for the work product is on the individual. A team is a collection of individuals with a common purpose and goal. They understand that together they can achieve something greater than the sum of their individual parts. They see themselves as a unit. They invest in each other. They trust and support each other. They hold each other accountable. How would you describe the people that you have directly reporting to you?

In this 90-minute introductory webinar we will present a leader-led process for creating a high performing team both in-person and virtually.

This team development design is comprised of two main pillars:
1. Maximizing team effectiveness is built on a foundation of psychological safety among team members. Interpersonal risk is a powerful barrier to collaboration and good decision making within teams and organizations. A climate of psychological safety makes it easier for people to speak up with without fear of judgment.

2. It is the role of the team leader/manager to be the champion of this process by investing themselves fully and committing to consistent and frequent focus and attention on the team development process.

About the instructor:

What happens when you combine 15 years as a street performer with two decades of experience as a top leadership development executive?

You get me! A catalyst for personal transformation.

The first half of my career I traveled the globe delivering a unique, one-person variety show. (I studied tap dance with Gregory Hines, walked wires at the Boston World Trade Center, and am a great storyteller).

My parents were very happy when I became a lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School. My time in theater finally paid off! Many Fortune 500 companies like Astra Zeneca, Discover Financial Services and PepsiCo appreciate my unorthodox approach and commitment to helping grow their executives into inspirational leaders and communicators.

We always have fun and learn a lot together.
