At the end of this Elective you'll get a step by step playbook you can use immediately to 1) identify the ideal role for you in the company you work at that honors your strengths and talents and supports your career advancement 2) identify and make a plan to have conversations with key advocates and decision-makers 3) utilize a conversation script template to have a tough role transition conversation with your Manager.
You don't have to feel stuck, it's time to make empowered actions to job craft into the role that is a win for you and your company.
About the instructor:
Tajan is a Leadership Development & Executive Coach (ACC, MPH) with over 15 years of management and training experience in start-up, tech, and government agencies. Tajan has successfully coached and trained first time managers, middle managers, and senior executives, many of whom have not had formal training around how to develop a coaching approach to management so they can easily navigate the most challenging parts of people management-such as conflict and tough conversations with ease through workshops, coaching, learning collaboratives and consulting. Tajan has served as a former DEI Director at JSI, gave talks, and conducted training sessions for companies including Twitter, Cooley, LLP, Intel, and others.
Tajan understands what is required to deliver high quality training and technical assistance at scale. She has 15 years of experience managing and evaluating the impact of national training and technical assistance centers such as the Reproductive Health National Training Center and others in her career.
