What you will learn:

There are currently over 9.8 million working moms in the workforce who are suffering from burnout. According to recent research approximetly 2 million of them have already dropped out of the workforce. The mental, emotional, and physical toll that the pandemic has put on working moms has in some cases been unstainable.

Working mothers are having to make impossible decisions to send their kids to school with the fear of covid exposure, to return to the office knowing that they may be called at any moment to pick up their kids because they have to quarantine, to try to find dedicated time to do work projects between managing their children's needs, and not having the time or energy to dedicate to prioritizing their own needs.

This constant barage of demands can lead to burnout. Burnout is a state of mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. Although it is mostly used to refer to problems people have in the workplace, it has always been a problem for working moms which was highlighted during the global pandemic. In addition, burnout has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a syndrome which is listed in the International Classification of Diseases.

In this course, I will help working moms who experience burnout and feelings of being overwhelmed, learn how to take charge of their emotional well-being, strategize ways to have a healthy work-life balance, and map out a plan to prioritize their own needs, so they can go from surviving to thriving.
