In this course, you will learn to recognize the geographic origin of French wines with all your senses – from smell all the way to touch and how they pair with regional cuisines.

Wine expert, educator, and entrepreneur Tanisha Townsend has cultivated an international community of wine enthusiasts through an unyielding enthusiasm for oenology. As Chief Wine Officer of her own lifestyle agency Girl Meets Glass, Tanisha leads wine appreciation classes and hosts virtual wine tours in Paris and the regions beyond.
Tanisha offers an enriching curriculum that gives students unique, multisensory experiences unrivaled in the field. Her mission is to empower individuals with an advanced knowledge of wine & spirits in order to build confidence in their tastes and make choices as a better informed consumer. To meet that end, Tanisha ensures that each student completes a course equipped with valuable information, while also holding fond and long-lasting memories of their experience.
Tanisha has further expanded the reach of Girl Meets Glass to include training programs designed for wine & spirits retailers, bartenders, and other professionals in the hospitality industry.
