About the instructor:

Former Chief of the FBI Crisis Negotiation Unit, Gary had a 30 year FBI career as an investigator, instructor, and hostage negotiator involved in numerous terrorist, kidnap, and hostage incidents covering: right wing militia standoffs, religious zealot sieges, prison riots, embassy takeovers, skyjackings, and over 120 kidnappings of American citizens abroad. Author of "Stalling For Time: My Life as an FBI Hostage Negotiator" published in 2010 by Random House and used as the basis of the 2018 Paramount Network six part television event "Waco," Gary has appeared in numerous broadcast and print interviews.
