What you will learn:
The Data Analytics Workshop introduces topics in data and analytics to develop professional skills in organizations. The learning objectives of the workshop go beyond an introduction to data and analytics concepts and aim to promote problem-solving skills and the mindset of data-driven decision making. The workshop has three components:
- Introduction: An overview of analytics and examples on interpreting descriptive statistics, causal analyses, and visualizations to draw meaningful insights.
- Analytics Framework: Introduction to an outline and template to frame thinking about leveraging data and analytics to solve business problems.
- Practice: A team exercise where participants leverage the analytics framework to identify and solve a business problem.
About the instructor:
Koosha Golmohammadi, has over 12-years of experience in operational advanced analytics and driving business value. Koosha led many end-to-end analytics projects from inception to operation driving value for customers.
Koosha holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Alberta as well as an MSc and a BSc in software engineering. Koosha graduated with an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Throughout his career, Koosha has worked in different capacities as an analytics leader, consultant, and data scientist leading several teams and project portfolios. Currently, he is the Head of Contact Intelligence and Optimization in Chase JPMorgan Wealth Management.
