Maya has lectured at the Brookings Institution, University of California, San Diego, University of Chicago, University of Southern California, and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Maya is fluent in Chinese and English. She earned her M.A. from University of Pennsylvania and B.A. from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. Maya lives in San Diego, California with her husband and their triplets. She enjoys yoga, hiking, and traveling.
