These challenges, along with a confidence gap, can play a significant role in a woman's career journey. This interactive, empowering workshop explores the impact of hidden barriers and lagging confidence while addressing numerous remedies to overcome such challenges. Group stories and examples add depth and impact to this course.
About the instructor:
Trish is a DE&I change agent, a sought-after DE&I speaker, advisor, writer, and workshop facilitator, and also a certified energy healing practitioner. She's on a mission to help organizations become more inclusive for all employees. A sampling of her expertise and passion includes allyship across identity difference – including race and gender – inclusive leadership, psychological safety, intersectionality, sponsorship and mentorship, and gender equity.
Trish has extensive experience working with organizations throughout the U.S. and internationally. Speaking engagements range from workshops and keynotes to panel discussions and roundtables. Clients include international corporations, early-stage companies, non-profits, and academic institutions. She works with employees at all levels and coaches senior leaders to help them navigate DE&I challenges.
She has written numerous research reports on topics ranging from disability inclusion and allyship to intersectionality and workplace culture. Her speaking engagements draw on this research. In all of her work, she emphasizes human connection, shared experiences, cross-cultural understanding, compassion, intellectual curiosity, and actionable recommendations.
Previously, Trish served as Executive Director of the Center for Women and Business (CWB) at Bentley University, leading mission-driven work to create more inclusive organizations, working on behalf of more than 100 organizations and establishing a track record of exceptional client referrals. Earlier, she served as vice president of Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations and senior vice president of FleishmanHillard Public Relations.
