What you will learn:

While bad online meetings are a misuse of a powerful engagement and alignment tool, well-run online meetings, presentations and pitches yield results that far exceed their costs in time and money. Technology doesn’t have to create a barrier to engagement when you know how to use it to your advantage. Online pitches can be scheduled to work for participants in multiple time zones, reduce travel time and travel costs, bring participants together from anywhere they have access to a computer and Internet connection and can even foster more interaction among participants and facilitators than large in-person groups. Facilitated poorly, participants are distracted, unmotivated, disengaged and hard to re-engage, and may miss the rapport-building that comes so naturally with in-person meetings.

This teaches and models how to run a productive, engaging and creative online presentation or meeting that participants walk away from feeling present, attentive, and involved. This session takes participants through the critical pre-planning, facilitating and follow-up steps needed to accomplish the three criteria of effective meetings: 1) achieving the meeting’s objectives; 2) in the minimum amount of time possible; 3) with satisfied participants.
